Euphorbia obesa from Lowe's this afternoon.
What a great find! 😊
0 gillningarIt was pretty random to find it in the middle of a bunch of melted echeveria.
0 gillningarMy Lowe’s houseplants section just makes me sad. They just filled the houseplant and outdoor gardening sections with a bunch of crotons. In Pennsylvania. At the start of AUTUMN 😂 I just shook my head cause I know all those poor plants are gonna die so soon and Lowe’s has no right selling them 😂 the euphorbia you found looks really healthy, though, so hopefully you saved it in the nick of time! 😉
1 gillaI see Lithops and other really delicate plants show up and shake my head. I used to think I had to save them all…used to. Okay, still do, and yes it’s a pile of melted stuff that’s been knocked out of the pot. This one must have just barely shown up. There is another Euphorbia over there that has been calling to me for three days. I gotta go save it lol
1 gillaI don’t have the money nor the emotional energy to save them all 😂 but I want to 😢 my only real rescue attempt has been a ficus elastica belize from a pet store that was selling reptile/amphibian terrarium plants out of a KIDDIE POOL so they didn’t have to check on the plants to see when to water them 🙄 I’m on the verge of applying to work there just to save their plants (and the animals those plants are gonna come in contact with) 😂
2 gillningarThat's an insane scenario lol.
1 gillaYour Lowe’s is better than my Lowe’s. Sob!
1 gillaOnly once in a while - but it’s good when it is.
1 gillaThey look like alien eggs too me 😨
1 gillaI’m pretty obsessed with that shape!
0 gillningarYou need to save that euphorbia! It’s gorgeous.
