Hi all, I’ve recently joined the cactus community and wanted to share my collection! The Euphorbia and Notocactus did have spider mites when I got them a few days ago, and I have been working on getting rid of them by spraying them every 3 days at night. I didn’t notice when I bought it, but the bottom of the Notocactus doesn’t look amazing so hopefully getting rid of spider mites helps. However, I love them all and am hoping I can take good care of them! I live where it is sunny year round and the people at the cactus nursery told me my window was a perfectly fine location for them since it is West facing.

    How wonderful to have such a grand window for your cacti. Sounds like you’re doing a great job. I absolutely love your plant stand and your euphorbia is amazing! It’s so easy to miss pests but I automatically assume that the cacti I’m about to purchase has them. Especially if they are all dry and in close proximity to one another. I find that spider mites are much easier to eradicate than a scale infestation. Good luck with your beautiful collection.

    What did you spray the spider mites with? I’ve just spotted some on my calathea and want a solution that won’t pose a risk to my cats
