This is my Silverball Cactus she’s supposed to bloom a flower in the middle. I’ve had her for a year and she hasn’t grown much. The other day the enter thing fell over out the pot. I dug a hole in the center & tried replanting it but it’s not staying. Any help? Should I repot with new soil & rocks? Thanks you for your help!

So sorry for the late comment 😅. I would, 1; replant it in a bigger pot, 2-3 inches wider to encourage growth. If the roots were damaged by the fall I would add some root stimulant. Put it with new soil, a gritty cactus soil. Make sure she's in front of a window that gets enough light for this specific species. If shes not growing a lot, it also may be shes not getting enough light. Water until it pours out of the drainage holes and then don't water until soil is completely dry to the bottom. Cactus prefer to be underwatered than overwatered. After repotting give her a couple days of recuperation before watering. Hope that helps and hope im not too late 🙏

Thank you so much! I think my window has poor sunlight so I’m not sure it’ll thrive ☹️ I gave up but thanks again.
