Any ideas about how to help my plant? For a little background, I moved two months ago and this one gradually started dropping shriveled lower leaves. Last week, the middle part of the stem weakened and broke. I’ve pruned this plant before so I cut above the break, let the cut scab for two days, then started misting with water. The shriveling on the stem just keeps spreading and two more leaves have fallen. I’ve never seen anything like this before. What’s causing it? And is there anything I can do?

One of mine did this. I thought it was because I had been new to succulents. But my others seemed to be doing ok. I just babied it and left it nearest to window and just bypassed it mostly. It was like a stump with 2 leaves for a very long time. I went to toss it last night. Then noticed two sprouts in the pot. The tiniest things lol. So now I’m going to see what it does. One of the leaves that didn’t shrivel but fell off decided to start again. The stump is still holding its own with two. I guess I’m leaving it alone for now. Sorry I have no wisdom for you. lol just my story. 😊

It could be under watered or have lower light in the new location causing leaves go drop. Check the roots for damage. The lower section of the stem and the roots could be dehydrated, damaged or rotting. 🪴🍀

That's probably root rot. Your best bet is to take cuttings from the healthy part and restart the plant. Make sure you sterilize your cutters and make sure the new soil has excellent drainage
