Got this plant from someone whose neighbor gave it to them and they just laid it on the ground outside. It’s humid here and I was worried about it. I know the pot it’s in now isn’t big enough, got a new one that I’m going to transfer it to. Any advice to help support it?

If that was my plant I’d give it a good soaking then repot it. I would also clip all those babies off and repot those as well!

Also, don’t be afraid to pull of the dead leaves. Hens & chicks are pretty tough.

We did take off all the dead leaves, and all the little ones are soaking in water to help them grow roots

I literally just snip off my babies and stick them right back into soil. Some people let them callus over a little bit, but it has never affected mine as far as establishing roots.
