Is it normal for Snake Plants propagated from a cutting in perlite to grow so slowly? My Baby Nagini has taken 11 months to get to this point.

I've heard snake plant propagations take up to a year to do anything

I am not sure how my grand kids did mine. but I just sit mine right here and she does her own thing. I spray her leaves. I do know with ALL plants. You really need to find their “HAPPY PLACE” direct or indirect sunlight. It takes a little moving around and a some weeks b4 some of mine have found a happy place inside. Most of my plants I have found at work. Hope this helps. My plants and I are a work in progress

I got this disaster about 3-4 years ago; he was a few clumps of leaves on rhizomes with no roots at all. It took about 10 months to show any noticeable roots, 16 months for roots to get 2 inches long, 2 years before any new leaves happened, and now we're here. I much prefer birds nest snake plants, ngl 😅 they seem to grow so much easier, at least for me lol
