This is my absolute favorite plant! It seems to grow in stages. Sometimes faster, sometimes very slow. The leaves are pretty plump and plant generally seems to be doing well. Only thing is he's getting pretty tall but not branching out to be more bushy. Is it worth the risk of trimming him back a little to see if he will grow out more than just up? Also when I've tried propagating a leaf before it always just shrivels up and rots. Any tips?
This is my Silver Jade and it’s also one of my favorite plants. I have never propagated it from a leaf but you can see she is shooting out some babies. She has done really well since I moved her outside for the summer. In filtered light on my back patio. Definitely a slow grower.
Wow! Should I put mine outside now that summer is here? I live a hot state, it's been high 90s to 100s most days.
1 gillaI live in Arizona and as long as they aren’t in direct intense sunlight they do ok. Mine gets filtered light from our pergola.
