Can someone help me with my Black Rose? It’s been dropping leaves ever since I bought it. I repotted it in a bigger pot and it’s been in a mini greenhouse with a grow light but it’s still dropping leaves and drooping.

The pot is too big. You want a pot that’s 1-2 inches bigger then the roots
4 gillningarI also don’t recommend replants as soon as you get it they already get stressed from a new environment you might have shocked the plant. But the pot is def way too big and deep.
3 gillningarAlso leave an inch of soil off the top and don’t pack the soil.
2 gillningarI got it a two months ago And the roots are super long and a lot So that’s why I repotted it in a bigger pot a week ago because in the little pot it was not drinking the water.
0 gillningarWhen it’s long and thin on the bottoms think of it like hair. I trim the roots down. It actually helps promote new growth and better for even water absorption
0 gillningarIf i may ask, how often and how do you water?
0 gillningarI watered it when I first got it a month and 3 weeks ago. Then I watered it Thursday the 21st. That’s when I realized that the water wasn’t penetrating the soil because the bottom would be bone dry and the next day it was completely dry at the top
0 gillningarI recommend bottom watering when tht happens, or even doing that more often bc itll take what it needs, occasionally from the top to remove unwanted mineral build up. Soil can become hydrophobic, so you can leave it in water longer.
1 gillaIf you have a couple roots that are long you can always trim down the roots that’s what I do it also help it with new growth
