Hi! I’m new to the succulent game. I put together this mini-garden, and was wondering if I should water it now (immediately after repotting) or wait a few days? On-line advise seems to be split between waiting and not waiting. Going to add some white pebbles on top to finish this up.

Whenever I re-planted my succulents, I misted the soil before planting and then watered after 2-ish days, and they’ve adjusted fine! If you didn’t pre-wet the soil I’d suggest maybe a light watering and then you can give them a full one in a few days.

Thanks! I made a mix of cactus something or other soil (it’s in the other room) and perlite and dampened it slightly when I mixed it, so I’ll wait to water.

Either way is probably fine. Just check the leaves for water need.

The leaves are all wrinkled indicating they need water. I would water them now.

It’s always a good idea to water immediately after repotting anything. It greatly reduces the risk of repot shock. The only exceptions I would say are plants suffering from root rot
