GUYS so like a few weeks ago some of the leaves of my snake plant were drooping. It seemed to be underwatering bc I measured the dryness of the soil with a skewer. The weird thing is that I watered it two days ago…so I checked the roots and I repotted it because I thought maybe it was soaking up the water too quickly since it was rootbound. After two-three weeks of waiting the leaves have still not undrooped, and the soil is still moist. ??? What is happening? Some additional details: the tips of the leaves that are drooping are turning brown. I’ve been watering it exactly when I should and I even measure the moisture of the soil before watering. The base of most of the leaves (even some of the ones that aren’t drooping) and wrinkled/creased like low-quality leather. It has drainage holes and the soil is plenty airy so I’m so baffled as to what is wrong.

Im also having the similar problem with my snake plant :0 Whenever i water the whole pot, the water drains right through.. so maybe i need to add some rocks at the bottom of the pot in the spring🤔 maybe itll collect extra moisture so then the plant will be able to reserve some extra water before the soil is completely dried out. Idk. Im hoping someone more knowledgable than me, comments on your post too Goodluck!!

If the water is draining straight through, the soil may be hydrophobic.
