This is my newest addition to my house. Still haven’t picked a name for her, but this is my shameless way to hopefully inspire some people to buy jade plants. They’re very hardy, they thrive on neglect, and my abuela’s cutting from her original plant turned THIRTY years old this year, and she and her tough little plant is what inspired me to get into gardening and houseplants. They may seem a little boring to some, but they’re my favorite plant of all time (and I’d love them to become more popular and sold more often in nurseries 👀)

I have one I bought in a 2 inch pot. It's now one of two that are thriving in a big 6 inch pot

They’re not once you get into em 😊 I just know some other folks are more into flowering plants and succulents or plants with pretty foliage.

I think this is very pretty and has some cool cultivars. I actually added a “Hobbit” cultivar I saw in Planta to my wishlist as well.

I love that their edges turn pink when they’re happy! This pot had another plant in it when it was bought, but the jade just took over 😂

It looks like all three of them are, just different types of Jades. The green and yellow one looks like a variegated one. The little one with the smaller leaves might be an ogre ear type, and there’s quite a few varieties that darken at the edges. That tends to mean they like the amount of sun they’re getting it they turn that color at the tips
