you can ignore em and come back in a few weeks to a month and they should have roots and some pups! when you can easily pull the shriveled up mother leaf off, the pups can get put in a little pot of their own! good luck and have fun!!

I second that! I’m a freelance artist, so it’d be so cool to see what you come up with!

As for advice on propagating, I recently did this with stem cuttings from my jade plant. I completely agree with @c.cat’s advice, but thought I’d add that once you start to see air roots, you can poke a little hole beneath each of the spots where the leaves with roots are, and use an eye dropper to add a few drops of water in the holes. It’ll attract the plant’s roots to start to root downward, and create a space for the roots to be placed into. Only add more water when the hole is completely dried out, and once the roots are developed enough (and not just air roots), you can stick them right into the little hole. Once they “stick” and don’t pop right out upon gently pulling out of the hole to add water, that prop is ready to be repotted into its own pot. Hope this helps!

I also like to add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide (just drops of it) to my water the first time I water it once they’re in their own pot. I’ve found it helps with root development. I bottom water all of my plants, but you might want to consider doing so with such a young plant once they’re potted to prevent overwatering it. And please please PLEASE don’t use miracle grow’s succulent soil to repot. It’s horrible, it nearly killed everything I repotted in it, it stays moist for way too long even if you add an entire bag of perlite, and its even worse for your plants if you live in a more humid climate. I highly recommend Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent soil. It’s never failed me.
