So I have these two remaining little succulents that are still alive from a larger succulent garden; the rest have died off and I’ve honestly just been neglecting it since. Would love to keep these ones alive though if I can. How should I go about propagating or replanting these? The soil has not been watered in several months and is incredibly dry, so is callusing even necessary? Can they grow in water? Any help is much appreciated!!

They can grow in water, I have never tried it though. I like to just stick the stem down in the soil and water it a bit more frequently and they’ll just root in. You may want to use some new soil too

I agree with Kades. Very easy to start in soil

Hi! I grew up in Arizona and have raised many cacti/aloe/other succulents. I wouldn’t recommend putting succulents straight in water as they’re prone to being overwatered (they’ll become puffy, soft and yellowed) The soil you think is dry may be best for them! They look callused enough to be put on top of well-draining soil now. And make sure they get bright indirect sunlight and stay warm :)
