I have recently moved from shaded plant space to new east-facing balcony with morning sunlight. I thought this would be great for my aloe since it has always grown a little skinny in the shade. But, when I first moved it seemed to start to brown up; I have moved it back so less direct sun, but now I’m not sure how to best help it thrive. Sometimes the bottom leaves get soft at the base and come off; I thought from overwatering and not enough sun but now it seemed to not like the sun. Is it just adjusting to new environment? Any advice I would appreciate it:)

    Following for advise. I have the same issue! Constant new growth but the bottom limbs get soft and start turning brown, I end up cutting them off. This has made her very leggy and top heavy. I also moved and put her outside instead of inside and I think the temperature change shocked my aloe. She almost turned completely brown before I noticed and brought her back in. Since then she is doing much better, guess she is just an inside girly like me. 💁🏼‍♀️ But still having the same issue with her bottom half. HELP!

    Full sun is good, but do it gradually. A big change all at once and it will burn.

    Aloes are succulents and need very little water also do u water on the leaves they ave little crevice that if water stayed in it might lead to root! Also moving too much causes stress somtimes so maybe taking it slow would be the best choice
