Hello plant ppl! I have a huge aloe I've managed to keep alive- his/her name is Hugo. There are several office shoots or babies (I'm a new plant person, so forgive the unknowledgeable verbiage) around it now. Should I leave them or take them out and repot them? The picture is an older picture of Hugo.
I would superate them just so they all have space to grow and repot them in cactus soil with some drainage.

Hugo is spectacular! I agree with BooksandPlants, if you can remove the pups with roots put them in their own space. Just don’t be surprised if it pushes a lot more than a single pup. I have a friend with an Aloe plant that averages 20-30 pups each summer. She lives in Houston and just pots them up and gives them to neighbors.

you can leave them or remove them, it's your choice. you will have to repot more frequently if you leave them in there, because hugo will not stop producing pups, even if space in the pot is limited.
