I have SOpearls variegata, relatively small (in a 2" diameter pot lol, tiny!) and i last watered it about two and a half weeks ago. the soil is not damp, but the pearls are still pretty firm when i give them a bit of a pinch. some of them have more give than others. should i water? or do i keep waiting?

the pot is plastic, and the longest strand of pearls is roughly two inches long. she's not balding or anything, and she's giving me lots of new growth

ppl usually say to wait until a majority of the pearls’ slits are “closed”, so if the slits are still open and the pearls are still firm, hold off on watering. Its a succulent so it can REALLY dry out and be fine. Like, fully shriveled up (but still green ofc) and then you soak it and it looks perfect the next day. I would always err on the side of “wait a lil bit” for these guys since theyre so prone to overwatering and rot.
