Y’all… my ruby necklace is looking more like an emerald necklace lol. What do we think? More light? It lives outside in summer with southeast exposure, but our silver maple shades the area pretty well so it doesn’t a ton of direct sun, but a lot of bright indirect light.

The ones I’ve seen get full sun except during the middle of the day. They get bright red. You will have to move it to get several hours of bright morning or late afternoon sun.

Making the move! Going full west and where I have it, it will get direct sun from about 3pm-730/8ish. How long you guys think before I’ll see some color change? Days? Weeks?!Don’t you dare say months 😖

It’s called a ruby necklace, or string of rubies. Othonna Capensis. They’ll turn red with more sunlight so we just made a move to the other side of the house. 🤞🏼
