Im not sure if a snake plant is a succulent but it grows wild in Australia so I’m going with it . Would mine be ok in a north window that just gets some light and thru a sheer curtain. I need to spread my plants thru my house It’s not a sunny day . I live in Ohio and this is the window Also this is my first monstera ? And it’s yellowing ? It’s until a west window and grow light for 12 hrs
Snake plants are succulents. To me, no plant will do well in that light. Can you part the sheers? Actually snake plants do best in very bright light. They will just remain status quo in dim light-no growth.

0 likes I definitely understand. I’m always dealing with similar issue. Grow lights have helped a lot. I’m trying to spread my plants throughout the house. But want them to look good, part of the decor. Not just stuck somewhere but never really happy with the look. So I keep moving them.

North windows don’t typically provide enough light for tropical plants unless there is a lot of bounced light off a structure into the window. Use a light meter or light meter app to measure the amount of light reach the leaves. Sheer curtains block more light. I recommend adding grow lights over the plant running 12 hours a day or move it to a south or west window with sheer curtains. 🪴🍀

1 like I fully understand. I have about 200 plants with little access to windows without curtains drawn. I heavily rely on grow lights in colder months. I’m in South Texas, zone 9. I drag them all outside to a north east wall with enough light and humidity to help them thrive. 🪴🍀
