What is going on with my succulent?? The leaves have so many marks on them and are discolored and dropping like crazy

The pot may be too big. Most succulents are sold in pots so small that the leaves hang over the rim of the pot. Large pots hold too much soil and water. The plants should be above the pot’s rim to get full access to light and to expose the top soil to better air circulation allowing the soil to dry faster. The top of the soil should be within 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of the rim for a pot that size. Ensure the soil is a cactus/succulent mix for the best drainage and faster drying needed by those plants. 🍀🪴

1 LikeIf you didn’t just water or mist the plant, it could be in too humid of an environment also. Succulents don’t typically do well in high humidity, leading to rot. I agree with the potting comment as well, they need plenty of access to air. What’s lighting like?
