Can anyone help explain to me why my Madagascar palm’s leaves instantly turn black and crispy? I’ve tried moving it away from the window, as well as increasing watering intervals.

    crispy leaves in tropical plants is generally low humidity, not underwatering. get a mister or humidifier if possible.

    Idk about the higher humidity bcz i have one thats doing great and i live in a very low humid climate. I'm thinking it needs more light. Mine loves the east sun.

      It’s in a South facing window currently and gets as much sun as it can here.

      That window still may not be enough. When I researched this plant a couple months ago, found out they need lots of direct sun. I already have many succulents with grow lights, but having a tall plant under a grow light is a little more difficult. That’s why I decided against getting one.

    Oh ok the south facing window is even better. They need a little more water than Cacti
