Has anyone ever tried propagating Kalanchoe in water? I know succulents are usually propped in soil but I’m curious to see it in water.

I’ve propagated a bunch of kalanchoes in water before, and it worked really well! Mine were cuttings, though; I tried single leaves and all of them failed. I let the cuttings callous over for a few days and set them in water; I found that the ones that grew aerial roots during callousing grew roots faster. I popped mine in soil once the roots grew to about 2”. Hope this helps 🤍
