I just got this guy. A Gymnocalycium Cristada Crested. Planta doesn't recognize the scientific name or the plant. I want to make sure he gets the care he needs. Also, is there a common name? Thanks in advance āŗļø

Hi, Iām not sure but maybe itās a crested San Pedro cactus? Itās very unique and beautiful whatever it is :)

Verdant VibesAt first, I thought I was looking at a ginormous caterpillar! šš Iām wondering if its care is similar to a San Pedro crested cactus, like another member mentioned. If so, itāll probably do best in bright, direct light and only watered once the soil is completely dry. Hope it thrivesāitās definitely a unique-looking plant! šµ
