There are a few things that could be affecting your plant. It seems like the bottom leaves are starting to rot, and this could be due to stress (overwatering or under watering), too much sunlight, frost exposure, disease pressure, or root rot. If it is an infection, try and remove any visible infected areas with scissors and/or pliers. If it is too much sun, try and moving it to another place where it is a little more protected. If it is due to stress, make a strict watering schedule so the plant isnât as stressed out. Hope this helps :)

0 gillningarIs there drainage water sitting in the ceramic pot? That could cause the issue. Succulents hate sitting in water too long. Remove the plastic pot before watering. Let it completely drain, no dripping, before putting it back in the ceramic pot. The top of the soil should be within 1/4 inch from the rim of the pot. This allows air circulation to reach the soil to help it dry out faster. Are you using a succulent/cactus soil mix? I canât see the soil. Standard potting mix keeps the roots too wet too long. I donât think itâs sunburn. Sunburn will usually affect all the leaves exposed to the sunlight and not just lower leaves. Sadly, I know this from experience!đ€ŁđđȘŽ
0 gillningarThis is not a Devilâs Backbone, this is a succulent called Kalanchoe Pinnata Mother of Thousands, this variety is often referred to as âMexican Hat Plant.â The little divots on each leaf will each produce a pup- if the plant is healthy. Once a leaf has produced all it can, the leaves at the bottom will start to wither away as the plant grows upward. This is completely normal behavior, keep watering scarcely as youâve been doing. These plants also bloom, the blooms are so delicate and beautiful! Now that you know what it is, look up some images of it to see what it looks like with pups, itâs really neat! And watch out! It can become a nuisance if the pups arenât kept under control. Best of luck <3
1 gillaoh wow! i had no idea this is what it is. my friend gave me this plant quite a while ago. It used to produce those little pups but havenât for a while. Thank you!!
