My succulents seem to be getting “leggy” I believe that means they aren’t getting enough sun so I moved them to my window sill. I also have some that seemed to have dried up and leaves falling off and some that look “wrinkly” Please help. Should I put them under grow lights? More water? Less water? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If leaves are wrinkling you may need to water more ofter, how ofter are you watering?

I use the app. I’m new to succulents so I struggle with caring for them. I think you’re right about the wrinkling and watering more seems the soil was pretty dry and I moved them closer to the window. Thank you.

My understanding is that succulents should plump up within a day or two of watering. When you water you want to give them a good drink, don't be stingy. If the leaves are still wrinkly after that, you've probably over watered too often and given them root rot. Essentially, they're dehydrated because they lost their roots and can't take up the water. If that happens, check the roots, remove any mushy roots (or stems), and repot with dry soil (you want a gritty, well draining mix for cactus or succulents). Don't water for about a week, you want to give them time to acclimate to the changes. Then when you start watering again, wait until the soil is completely dry all the way through the pot before watering again (I like to use a chopstick to check, if dirt sticks to it, it's still wet inside). As for the leggy parts, I would start with you window, and if they continue growing leggy, you might want to get a grow light. I live in the Midwest and can't get enough natural light for my cacti. Anything that is already leggy will stay they way, you want to watch the new growth to know if it's still happening.

I watered it 21 days ago prior to today. I was following plantas advice.
