Hello all! I desperately need help with my succulents. I’ve had these for about 6 months. I got them from a website, frame and all. They started off looking great but have been slowly dying for months. They are in a window getting natural light and I have a grow light for when it’s cloudy or raining. I’ve tried watering them to varying degrees and nothing seems to work. I don’t know if maybe the frame is too shallow (about 2 inches) or if there isn’t enough room for them. Please help!

Water logging a succulents root. Basically, the soil is staying too moist for too long, and the roots just keep on drinking because they don’t know any better. This causes root rot, and it is working its way up the plant. I would suggest a repot. There are many types of pots you could get! Individual pots, or something oooe this where there are all together. I would suggest giving them their own pot each. Something that is more than half the size of the plant, that way they have room to grow into. Just type on google or whatever, succulent pots; they don’t need drainage holes, but when you repot, use very good draining soil!!! Specifically succulent soil 😉 get better little succulents ❤️‍🩹

Succulents especially need drainage holes because of how easy it is for them to get root rot, and not having drainage holes is usually a death sentence for any plant

Some of the succulents leaves do look a little mushy, which is caused by too often watering.

I’ll definitely look into getting something else. I’ve tried barely watering them at all. I think I’ve done a month between waterings before. And there is plenty of drainage in the bottom of the frame but it seems like it’s still holding on to the water. I’ll also try getting succulent soil. Thanks!

I would get rid of the moss too. I’ve found my succulents thrive the best without moss. So when you repot, just carefully take the moss away.
