Hi all! First time here! Sharing some of my succulent bebes. I have some inside my Leopard Gecko terrarium. She tramples over anything delicate so I only have a few hardy plants in there. My Jade is approximately 12yrs old and the golden sedum about 7. 😀

Wowwww stunning!! Is that an elephant bush in there? I’ve been having trouble keeping mine alive if you have any tips :)

Thank you! Hmm not many tips aside from giving them enough sun and not overwatering. I water the dish every 14 days or so. Not sure if the soil makes much difference but it’s organic soil with no additives, sand, a little bit of cocoa fiber, sphagnum moss, and fir bark for aeration. Oh and some charcoal to keep things fresh.

Gotcha. Thank you! I wonder if it is my soil. I used miracle grow cactus and succulent soil mixed with some perlite (70 to 30 ratio). Do you think I need to change my soil? I’ll attach a pic of mine, I just propogated it so stuck it directly in the soil

Not 100% sure if it’s the soil. I did a little research online for my desert terrarium and it had similar conditions for succulents and arid plants to thrive in. It’s the same mix with sand, charcoal (not sure if this provides essential minerals to the soil) and bark. I also added leaf litter to break down since I have isopods in there. These little plants can be dramatic too. I usually don’t get water on the leaves or “branches” and water directly to the base. Again, not sure if this makes a huge difference but it’s the methods I’ve been practicing. 😀
