    i usually leave it be until it’s spawned the baby and used all the leaf’s moisture (when it’s shriveled). then i’ll plant!

    Did this recently with my sedum morganianum and stem cuttings from my jade plant. I gently added them back to the pot the leaf came from, then added a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to the water I use for watering (I actually use an eye dropper for this part, and poke a little hole where I want the roots to go, drop the water into the holes, then carefully place the little roots already grown down. I do this so I can keep bottom-watering my succulents and so the delicate new roots don’t get overwatered.) the peroxide helps with root development and from my experience, every time I do this the roots develop within a week. Hope this helps!

    I put a pinch of soil on top. Otherwise continue the same care until you get a pup. Sometimes the roots come first, sometimes the pup comes first, and sometimes they both grow at the same time. Sometimes the leaf only grows roots or a pup. Sometimes it does nothing at all.🤪🤷‍♀️ It’s doing great so far! Keep doing the same thing!

    Nothing. Leave it be until a new plant forms at the base of the mother leaf and then throw the mother leaf away once it’s dried up. Don’t add or do anything and it’ll be fine
