i usually leave it be until it’s spawned the baby and used all the leaf’s moisture (when it’s shriveled). then i’ll plant!

0 likesDid this recently with my sedum morganianum and stem cuttings from my jade plant. I gently added them back to the pot the leaf came from, then added a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to the water I use for watering (I actually use an eye dropper for this part, and poke a little hole where I want the roots to go, drop the water into the holes, then carefully place the little roots already grown down. I do this so I can keep bottom-watering my succulents and so the delicate new roots don’t get overwatered.) the peroxide helps with root development and from my experience, every time I do this the roots develop within a week. Hope this helps!
0 likesI put a pinch of soil on top. Otherwise continue the same care until you get a pup. Sometimes the roots come first, sometimes the pup comes first, and sometimes they both grow at the same time. Sometimes the leaf only grows roots or a pup. Sometimes it does nothing at all.🤪🤷♀️ It’s doing great so far! Keep doing the same thing!

Nothing. Leave it be until a new plant forms at the base of the mother leaf and then throw the mother leaf away once it’s dried up. Don’t add or do anything and it’ll be fine
