My momma sidewinder aloe has a bud! Second succulent of mine that's had a bud, excluding my Christmas cactus. I hope it reaches a bloom. I've had her for at least three years. Her baby is in another pot.

      I found this one at Home Depot. I knew it was an aloe but like many of their plants, it was mislabeled. I dug around trying to figure out what it was but had to ask in one of my succulent FB groups. It was touch and go when I got it off it was going to survive. This is the second year Mama has looked healthy and the first for her pup.

    Here's a photo of a few open flowers. They're such a pretty peach color. The stem is about a foot tall from the plant to the tip.
