   Absolutely! I actually had the exact same thing happen to me with the exact same plant. That’s how I learned about root rot and that not all succulent soils are made equally. I’d actually recommend starting by removing leaves about halfway up the central stalk. Heck, you could probably remove all those leaves that are curling down if you want. Then plop it in good, well-draining succulent soil. Be sure to water it very sparingly from now on and put it in a very sunny location. Eventually it will regrow roots and begin to thrive. This species is extremely resilient, hence its ability to grow without any roots.
