hey guys! i’m in need some advice. this is my boy curtis :D (the smiley is part of his name, legally). ever since he got over 4 or 5 inches he’s had a little bit of a curve. i try to rotate his pot every once in a while to keep him decently even. maybe i’ve been slacking on the rotation lately, and but i’ve never seen him curve this much. i’m not ashamed of his phallicness, he just has a bit of weight to him now so i’m a bit worried about him toppling over. besides turning him around to curve the other way now, is there anything i can do to help encourage him to straighten out? thank you in advance for any tips!

I would try facing the curved side away from the sun for a while. have a chubbier cactus than yours who goes in a for a hard lean so I face it the opposite way when I notice and that seems to correct it.

I think he would be best propped up against two baby barrel cacti. Should help support him from the base while he grows.

pretty sure this kind of cactus likes to crawl as it matures. maybe try getting a crawling pot for it? one of those long rectangle ones, and let it fall over. theplantrescuer on instagram has a few videos of crawling mammillaria
