I didn't know what it was before... but now I know my jade plant is covered it in mealy bugs. I'm seeing the solution is rubbing alcohol and not neem oil like I've been using before I knew what it was. Also has been fairly quarantined since I noticed month(s) ago. What's your favorite process to eliminate them?

    i douse mine in food safe diatomaceous earth, spray the leaves with insecticide, wrap it in a plastic bag, and leave it for a few days in the bathtub to quarantine it

    I take my plant outside and spray with a hose set on jet spray.

    For a bad infestation I make a spray with neem, castille soap and a bit of isopropyl alocohol in water and spray the crap out of the plant outside using a pressure sprayer. Then leave to dry away from any sun. Seems to have worked so far but needs to be checked in case any were in the soil and start making a home on the leaves again. I would respray every 1 to 2 weeks and just keep monitoring closely to ensure there’s no reinfestation and spray as necessary
