I rescued this false Christmas Cactus from a relative who passed. I think she has experienced some underwatering and neglect because her root ball was very tiny with stringier roots. I cut off a decent amount of growth (not seen in photo) and repotted her into a soil mix with a high pearlite content. She is in indirect light where my thanksgiving cactus is thriving. Anything else you recommend? Do you think she is viable?

    I think you could totally save her! This option is a little extreme but you could cut off every little “leaf” and wait for it to dry out over (about a day) then plant it in soil. Since the plant isn’t doing great the majority of the cuttings won’t make it but probably 10-15 will and they will become new plants. The other option is attempt o clear away all of the soil and repot the plant into a well draining cacti mix. I would probably try this one first because the plant doesn’t look too bad. I hope this helps!!!
