Mine had this issue too. I gave it direct sun for many hours and it has healed itself and now only looses leaves every once in a while. As a succulent that plant desperately needs drainage. I would repot it with lots of drainage and well drainage soil as well. I usually water mine about a 1/3 a cup but the pot is much bigger and has drainage.
2 LikesOk thank you, how long can I wait before repotting it
0 LikesHow long have you had it? I try not to change too much about my plant’s environment in a short time… let it adjust for a few weeks before making additional changes! Depending on your climate, too, they might be sensitive to the colder season and not love the repotting at this time.
0 LikesI have had it for 4 months
0 LikesOverwatering I would guess. Water when the leaves feel soft. When it’s watered properly it should feel firm (like a cucumber). It should start to feel soft (not mushy - think raisin or date) when it wants water again. I would actually have this plant in a pot with drainage holes. Either a nursery pot inside of your current pot or drill a hole and place a saucer underneath this pot. Or when you water after about 30 mins tip over the pot to let excess water drain out. Succulents are super prone to root rot, and they don’t need a lot because they’re the plant version of a camel basically
4 LikesRather than “soft” I’ve also heard the watering need described as “wrinkly” if that helps!
1 LikeMake sure you use a toothpick to ensure that the soil is dry all the way to the bottom before you water too! I know there’s no drainage, but it’s also a very small pot with lots of room for evaporation off the top of the soil, so it shouldn’t hold water for super long I think!
0 LikesSorry to say but you are killing it with that set up. Golden sedum need lots of light. Inside you will probably need 16 hours under a good grow light. Very gritty soil. Terracotta pot with a drain hole. Once you are accustomed to their needs you may be able to use an arrangement similar to what you have now. And depending on the type, they will color up a lot.
