    It’s a root.

Very normal for Jade! It’s a root coming in - usually from humidity. That’s how they grow in their natural environments!:)

Ok, so nothing to worry about? I've been having some troubles out of this particular Jade lately, so just wanted to make sure it was not a sign of anything

Nope, nothing to worry about - it’s looking great!

Should I cover it with dirt?

It’s not necessary, it’s fine without it. The root is low enough if you do want to put soil. If you get a root higher up the plant - that would make it impossible to do that; like mine.

I started this jade prop in July… I have no idea if roots stayed to grow in soil but it grew air roots lol

Mine grew air roots before it grew roots in the soil 😆
