Hi everyone, does anyone know why my cactus is doing this ? Should i cut it ?

    looks like root rot, you could try to propagate him but probably a combination of bad soil drainage/too much water. personally for my cacti i use 1-1 soil and sand

    Definitely root rot. Propagating is the only way to save it at this point

      How does one propagate this?? I had the same problem!

      I think you just cut off the squishy part & then let it callous before putting it back in soil so theres less chance of it rotting at the cut
