Is it normal for this to be happening to my stone plant?! Thank you! x

I have never seen one of these but I’m definitely going to look for one because it’s so cool!

I know they’re amazing, they don’t look like plants at all!

Your lithops are so cute! The wrinkly ones look a lil thirsty. The other ones that are splitting are babies & they take their water from the outside pieces so those will just die off once the middle is done growing which is normal :)

I get what you mean, I didn’t like them for ages until I was gifted one and found out that they are so easy and pretty much look after themselves 😂

1 likeSome are putting out new sets of leaves. The larger ones on the outside will dry up and wither into husks as they transfer their water/nutrients to the smaller newer leaves. It’s crucial you do not water them as they split and put new leaves out. Half of your plants are on different yearly cycles and if you want to risk it, you can separate them based on their place in the yearly cycle. It requires a gentle and patient hand. Lol if you can nail lithops, there is no plant too difficult to cultivate.
