Ok my turn. Today I have to be Tonya Harding and shorten the legs of some of my succulents. I’m terrified that I’m going to kill them. - Red circle: 2 years old, HomeDepot rescue back then. He actually loves the pot he’s in. Recommendation? Instructions? - Yellow Arrows: Also 2 years old, Etsy purchase. Originally was 1 rosette, and the most amazing darkest green too. Now I have 3 leggy succulents. Recommendation? Instructions? - Orange circles: Leaves fall off the succulents and I throw them in one of the pots and say to the leaf… “Speedy growth to you! Good luck!” Recommendation and instructions for the smallest succulents in growth? - Blue circle. Another throw the leaf in that pot item but also with my hairy stemmed succulent that I just about killed last year after repotting. I am terrified to touch, remove, cut and replant red circle, yellow arrows, and orange circles. 😳😬😱🙀🫣🫨😲 This must be what it feels like to be a doctor on the Appalachian Trail, or a doctor in a state that forces women to be baby factories. I need the expertise of a specialist who currently does not exist where I am.

Yellow: if you want rosettes again you’ll have to chop and prop. I always recommend a grow light for succulents. I’ve never been able to get them enough sun. I’m gonna find a chart for you Red: looks great. I’d recommend up sizing the pot this year or next… but should be a fairly easy process, just make sure you have drainage holes and well draining soil. Orange: cant really tell but it looks like you might have some jade that should root eventually! Blue: I cant really see what’s happening.

i 100% agree with Kades! red: looks great, if you don’t have roots coming out the drainage holes then no need to repot yellow: will for sure need to be chopped, but the bright side is now you’ll have a bunch of little friends! it seems like a grow light right above them is the best option as they’re clearly looking for more sun. as for the color, maybe it’ll get darker with more sun? orange: looks like you got a couple little guys in there. i would put ones of similar size/care together in a smaller pot, or combine all of them into a pot as an arrangement. succulents especially do not want to be roomy! blue: i would probably move the randoms into the orange pots and put the one currently growing in a smaller pot by itself so it can continue to recover

chopping is so scary, but there are so many great articles/blogs/videos about it, i’d recommend watching a bunch to get yourself prepared! your plants clearly love your care as they all have so much growth, so be confident in yourself :)
