Does a grow light replace sunlight? (Also do I turn it off at night?) I just moved into college and there isn’t much room for my plants. My room has 1 window but it has a wall outside of it. Will this be good enough?

I live in a basement with only one window. Strong, full-spectrum grow lights have kept my plants, even the succulents happy. Just make sure your light is full-spectrum and they should be okay.

Yes you need to turn them off at night for at least 6 hours. Succulents perform CAM photosynthesis which requires a period of darkness to function. You will stunt their growth if you keep the grow lights on 24/7.

Completely agree with Chenpachi. It’ll also give you more time before needing to replace the bulb 😉

That looks like a Sansi brand light 💡 and I like them the most. The 10 w has kept my succulents alive for over a year now 😁

Use a light meter or a light meter app to check the amount of light going to the plants furthest away from the light source if the outer plants are slow growing.
