hey guys i posted maybe a week ago about my neglected jade. turns out shes alive! i was wondering if i cut her head off on the main branch, will she start to grow 2 stems? Or would it be beneficial in any way to promote new growth? I’ll attach the prev pictures (right) and one from today (left)

Since then I changed her soil to a chunkier mix and fertilized once

In theory yes topping the plant would promote side growth. In reality I have no idea how it will turn out. I would guess that if it dies, it was probably going to die anyways. I'm assuming you're talking about the stem on the left that has no leaves.

It was a free plant, so if it dies, no big deal. It’ll be a fun experiment! What if I cut the one with the most leaves and active growth?

It’s too young for trimming. Plus cutting at this height will leave you with no trunk. In the pick the jade has a taller sturdier trunk before splitting. It’s a gollum jade but same idea.

Is that a rainbow bush in front? I just received a 2 inch one and I’m curious about how long it will take to get it to that size

I know it as an elephant bush. Those were just cuttings I got a couple months ago. I lost one, but the others survived. It has probably grown about an inch. Now that they have roots it should start taking off.
