How accurate are the watering tasks on this app? I'm afraid of overwatering my cactus

    too. Don't follow it to a tee. I check every time with a stick to see if they really need water and if it's dry I will water otherwise is hit the reminder in 2 days and check it again.

    I normally never water the same day the app tells me to. I start checking the plant though to see if it's all the way dried out. The skewers are a great way to tell. I normally have to snooze the reminder though, then check again when it notifies me.

      I like to click on the 'more instructions' under the watering task because it tells you what to look for and it changes with each plant. Some will say wait until dry all the way through, others will say wait for the top two inches to be dry and so on. It's really helpful with my tropicals. General rule for cacti and succulents though is wait until they are dried all the way through.
