Help! My Indian fig (?) cactus is flourishing and getting so tall that she falls over. I have a stake to help, and it seems after watering she perks up but then she falls back down a few days later. Unfortunately I’m not in this room everyday so I can’t monitor frequently. The plant is about 12 inches in a small 4-5” pot and I’m wondering if a taller pot would be helpful as I don’t want to overwater either
Could the issue be not enough sun. It’s growing tall and skinny looking for light. I don’t have one but I know they are related to prickly pear and bunny ear cactus. My bunny ear is only inches from a very strong grow light and rarely needs to be watered. Your window does not appear to be in direct sun.
いいね 1件Thank you. Doing more research I found the tall pad means the plant is struggling for light, so I’m going to cut this off and move the base plant directly to a new window
