Does anyone know if it’s normal for the older leaves of aloe to die off? This is the first one i’ve owned so I’m not sure. One of the bottom leaves looks yellow and sunken in.

But is it normal for multiple aloe Vera leaves to kinda droop and be essentially in horizontal position?
0 Me gustaLeaves being horizontal is not an issue unless they are changing color, becoming swollen/dry/cupping or look diseased. Ensure the soil is well draining succulent soil or has sufficient aggregates (perlite, sharp sand) for good drainage. Let the soil completely dry out before watering.

The soil is definitely well draining, cacti/succulent soil. And I water it every 3-4 weeks. But since the leaves are in horizontal position, they start breaking at the base at some point. So I just wonder whether it’s normal.

Really normal mine do it all the time. This is my first time owning a succulent and I was so scared when it fell.
