I have this dude i would like to heal him if I can any tips I found him in a parking lot in April I repot him same day and it had the rot on him already

    I’m not a professional but try cutting that part out. Just a little nibble. Then whatever days you water it normally, spray some water onto the nibbled part. Good luck!!

    For the browning part, cutting a little bit out if it should work, just sterilize your cutters thouroughly before doing it. (And don't water the wound at all). Be aware that these grafted cacti are set up to fail from the start; the top part can't photosynthesize and the bottom part has no available direction for new growth. At best, the bottom half will eventually branch and the top will die back. If you want to try keeping the grafted top type alive long term, you'd need a bigger compatible root stock (dragonfruit and fairy castle cactus are the easiest options) with multiple branches/top points. You'd redo the graft so the larger cactus has only a few orange sections growing among a lot of green.

      Also the bottom section that can be kept alive long term on these is dragonfruit if you want to look up care needs for it

      I thought about cutting away the decay it seems like common sense but I don't know anything about this plant I do like it and the colors I will try your methods thanks

    I just saw a video saying that that top colorful bit is actually considered a parasite and is just added to that bottom part to make it appealing and if you cut it off, the remaining bottom cactus will flourish.
