New here, and new to keeping plants alive, lol… So I have 2 aloes, both were (are) in bad shape, one was abandoned at a house but I think is doing at least somewhat better… the other I got at a health store for free last week, it has quite a few dead leaves as I was told someone who has a farm of them just drops some off for ppl to take, so no telling how long it sat outside unattended/watered… and as of now I have yet to get it in the ground… My backyard faces exactly west and the sun travels across the south, I am in Florida… we don’t have gutters so rain runoff is my nemesis right now… I’m not sure where to put these guys… both are well over growing their pots, so I figured it would be easier to put them in the ground, our yard really has no place for this… sorry, I’m not being of much help but this is no where near something I’m used to tackling, just thought maybe anyone had some helpful tidbits… or not?? Lol… just hoping to find a location that they can be happy in… I can take pics if that helps The tagged plant is the big one from the health store, the other one is called an aloe arborescens to the best of my understanding

My friend has these ALL around their house. Literally on every side so they see every angle of sun and shade and they’re all fine. I’ve seen them grow huge in the middle of people’s yards in full sun. I have mine on my patio that doesn’t get much direct sun but is bright and it’s fine. So I think anywhere you put it, it will prob be fine 😃

Living in Florida may complicate some things, aloe are desert plants they prefer dry heat to humidity. I live on a desert and mine just grows and grows and grows. I would research how to properly take care of them in a climate like yours.
