Hello! Was wanting some advice and tips for repotting a Burros Tail. I bought her last week and have been letting the soil dry out so I can repot. She was absolutely soaked when I get her💔 now that its time to repot, im nervous😅 for most of my plants, I wait about a week, then do a complete repot- get all the dirt off and replace with my soil mix. For a burros tail, do I flip it over, get the excess dirt off and then repot? Or take ALL the dirt away, form a root ball then repot and hope it doesn't go into shock? im also seeing some yellowing stems and some dying. Do I propagate that stem? Like chop the green off and put the end back in the pot? Is the yellowing from light? I have a grow light bulb in the room itself, she's also like a foot away from the window but on the ground. She gets plenty of light but maybe too much? I would love to keep her intact, together and full. My hope for her is for the top to full as can be then beautiful and healthy vines. Any advice and tips are very appreciated!

I am in your exact predicament. What I have decided is that I will slice the plastic pot away down the sides with an Exacto knife. Fill a new pot with about third of new soil with mycorrhizae to help with any replant shock. Then pick up very gently by hopefully the nice root system/old dirt and set in new pot. Fill in with more soil around the sides as needed. Submerge in water and then let it drain. We will see. I don’t want to loose this burro tail since it took me a few tries to keep one happy🪴Good luck to us both!
