I ordered some string of pearls to try and hopefully keep them alive, but i haven’t had much luck with these guys. Is there any tips and tricks to keep them alive. TIA! 🪴

A dedicated grow light about 3-4 inches above the pot even if it’s in a window.

thank you! what are some signs to look out for if they need watering?
0 Mi piaceJust make sure the soil is completely dry in between waterings. Use PlantyAnn’s skewer method! It’s a great way to check the soil for moisture.
2 Mi piaceThe biggest mistake people make with succulents is watering too much and thinking they have enough light.

i have mine by a heater so it needs more frequent watering than it used to, i used to water once a month, using plantas watering schedule as a guide, i use a moisture meter every time before watering to check and see if the soil is fully dry, and also a fairly shallow pot since the roots are so delicate and they like to trail. now since it’s infront of a heater i’ve been noticing the pearls shrivel when it wants water, been trying to avoid this as it can stress the plant so keep that in mind! but she is 5+ feet long and i’m so proud of her

mines near a heater as well so i may try to keep it farther away under my grow lights still and keep that in as well. thank you!
