    Look how long each cactus is that you have. I’m presuming you live in a warm climate state. I live in Philadelphia and I’ve been able to get them to grow really well indoors and outdoors during the summer, but not that long.

      I believe this is huernia schneideriana which tends to grow longer than the other huernia species. But yes, I leave it outside year round and only need to protect it in my mini greenhouse for the handful of times we get in the 30's.

      Hi there! When do yours flower usually? I have about 4 pots of varying size in my house. But this one, second floor window facing west, is my long leg guy.

      Mine are in flower right now again. They flower all summer for me and into fall. I'm pretty sure it's the heat that triggers the blooms.

      If your able to put it outside I would and just bring it in when you are going to get in the 30s

      I even have little propagation pots of this and both are in bloom too and shorter than yours in your picture, so I don't think it has anything to do with plant maturity. Just heat and sunshine 🌞
