Hi! I just picked this up on clearance at my local store and it’s beautiful. It’s showing up as a Ficus Microcarpa on the identifier but it does not have a twisted trunk its growing on a stake. Anyone have one of these? Just thought I would share!

I just grabbed the same one, mine looks much worse. I think it’s a Hoya. Just haven’t narrowed it down yet. Maybe a carnosa?

Looks like a Hoya
2 Me gustaHoya Cumingiana. It’s a fast grower. It’s not fussy even with my low watering and too low lighting last winter. It never dropped a leaf. Mine just bloomed. Smells like ripe mangoes!🥭
3 Me gustaCompletely agree with Sunny on this one. Definitely a Hoya Cumingiana. I’ve seen them a lot at Lowe’s, and they’re not always properly labeled. You can keep it on the trellis as is, or turn it into a trailing plant in a hanging planter 😊 good luck with it!
3 Me gustaThank you all so much! Thats where I got it. Ill leave it on the trellis for now. The blooms look beautiful! I hope im successful with it!
1 me gustaVery pretty!!!!
1 me gustaIt kinda DOES look like a Ficus Microcarpa. I have one but as a bonsai as shown below. Reason why the ficus you’ve seen are twisted is that its trunk has been “trained” through wires and some through grafting using multiple Microcarpa. The one you have still is just as wired.
1 me gustaOh yes I see what you mean! It does look like yours with the leaves.
1 me gustaI got this from Lowe’s too and then all of a sudden my one stem died. I have no idea what happened but I’m hoping the other side survives
0 Me gustaOh really? So far mine is ok. I love it and really hope it survives. Are you planning on transplanting it? The pot seems small.
0 Me gustaNo but I also don’t want to stress the plant out right now. Mine seems fine in the pot it’s in.
