Hoping someone to help me identify this plant. Planta says he’s an Euphorbia Officinarium but plant shop disagreed but they weren’t sure exactly what it was either.

    young euphorbia spiralis. very distinct twisting growth pattern

      Yes! This looks way more like it. I’ve avoided euphorbias because I have a dog who has a tendency to get into them. So I’m not as familiar. I’ll just put in a hard to get to place whilst he small. Then he can go to another home when he’s bigger.

      i'm not too well versed either, i just recognized the twisting and knew it was something specific. growth like that isn't common. definitely took me a couple minutes to find the right species LOL

      It is very cool looking which is what drew me to it. I like the spiral plants but they are generally toxic to dogs.

    I agree with Christina who says euphorbia suzannea. (It doesn’t grow like the euphorbia officinarium that I keep in a pot.)
